General FAQs:


Q: How does the audio recording get done?

A: I meet with my clients at their office to help with the script. I bring the audio recording equipment. We record at that space too. (Note: Will need a quiet environment for recording).


 Q: What if you don't have access to a quiet place for recording?

A: Contact me for options.


Q: How long does it take to get the final video?

 A: The first draft is usually available for client review 7-10 working days after the recording day.


Q: Are there any restrictions for usage of the video?

A: There are no restrictions. You are free to use the video for all purposes.


Q: Will you be able to see a draft of the video, including the visuals used before it is finalized?

A: Yes, you will be able to preview the video draft. Up to 2 revisions are included. 


Q: What if you are concerned that you get nervous when you are being recorded?

A: Don't worry, I can have you record the script in small sections. I will then edit out the dead space in-between during the audio edit. As a last resort, I can record the script in my own voice (for a small charge), if you wish, or you can pay a professional voice-over actor (see: Extras, below for pricing). 


Pricing FAQs


Q: What if you need a video that goes over the included time for each package?

A: No problem, add $22 for each 5-second block. A 5-second block is up to 5-seconds long.

Example: a video is 39 seconds in total length. This uses 2 extra 5-second blocks. So, $299, for the first 30 seconds, + $22 + $22 = $343


Q: Will there be any taxes or fees added for this service?

A: There are no taxes or hidden fees. 


Q: What are the payment terms?

A: $225 for each video is due on the day of the recording. For each video: once the audio has been edited, the exact length of the video has been established, and approved by you, then the remaining balance is due. 


Q: Is there a discount for purchasing multiple explainer videos?   

A: If you order and record the audio for several explainer videos in a single session, then there is a discount. The first video is priced normally, (see above), and then each subsequent video receives a discount of $55ea.



Example: Client purchases two 30-second videos, and one 60-second video, for a total of 3 videos.  $299 + $299 + $389; subtotal = $987. Discount is $55ea off the 2nd & 3rd videos, for a total $110 discount. Subtotal $997, minus $110 = $877 final price)
